Chantael Takeuchi is a Japanese-American culinary artist currently based in Los Angeles whose work nourishes your body and connects you to the sensorial experience of eating. Drawing upon her heritage, experience in professional kitchens, at The Los Angeles Times food column, and personal relationships with local farmers and food purveyors, she offers the bounty of each season to creative professionals, busy families, and anyone who craves thoughtfully crafted meals.
Certified in Traditional Chinese Medicine food therapy, practiced in preparing supportive foods for postpartum women, and a movement arts background, Chantael creates meals that connect her clients to the larger, holistic systems of care. She curates menus from an intuitive, place driven perspective, supported by research and many hours in the test kitchen. Chantael is available as an in-home private chef, for catering and special events, and brand launches and activations.
